Frank and a small team worked with the client’s leadership to align a broad portfolio of building products businesses assembled through a series of acquisitions. The realignment first and foremost recognized the different strategic needs and priorities in the businesses, but also structured the portfolio to pursue key synergies from a major merger.
Over a multi-year period, the team conducted business strategy reviews for several of the component businesses and developed adjustments to make the businesses more successful. During the same time period Frank worked with senior management in developing perspectives on M&A opportunities. He also assisted a new general manager with the formation of a new “digital business” out of various disparate efforts in the pre-merger companies.
